The Challenge

Novu Cycle began as a basic Shopify store but needed transformation into a sophisticated multi vendor platform. The marketplace required seamless role switching, allowing users to both buy and sell. Critical requirements included a secure escrow payment system with flexible payout options for different seller types, automated transaction management, and full compliance with Swiss VAT regulations. The platform had to handle complex marketplace dynamics while maintaining simplicity for users.

The Solution

We built a comprehensive marketplace platform with unified user accounts that enable seamless switching between buying and selling. The payment system uses secure escrow with automated payouts, supporting both mass transfers for corporate sellers and instant payments for individuals. Real time chat facilitates communication between buyers and sellers, while automated notifications keep all parties informed throughout transactions. The platform handles VAT calculations automatically, ensuring compliance with Swiss regulations while eliminating manual administrative work.
